“وطاب : من أعظم نهر بفارس مخرجه من جبال أصبهان بقرب البرج حتى ينصب في نهر مسن، وهذا يخرج من حدود أصبهان فيظهر بناحية السردن عند قرية تدعى مسن ثم يجري إلى باب أرجان تحت قنطرة ركان، وهي قنطرة بين فارس وخوزستان، فيسقي رستاق ريشهر ثم يقع البحر عند نهر تستر.” 1
