“واما بست فانها اسم القصبة ايضا ومن مدنها جهالكان، بان، قرمة، بوزاد، ارض داور، صروستان، قرية الجوز، رخود، بكراواذ، بنجوى، كش، روذان، سفنجاوى، طلقان ولها الف ومائة قرية ومن هذه المدن ما يضاف الى سجستان وهو خطأ واقل من يميزهن تمييزنا وابو زيد جعل غزنين وبست من سجستان ومن الناس من يجعلهما كورة واحدة ويسميها كابلستان.” 1
