“ومن قراه العظيمة التي تضاهي المدن قرية ميمن، وهي للقاضي المذكور. ومن عجائب هذا الموضع المعروف بجمكان أن نصفه مما يلي شيراز وذلك مسافة اثني عشر فرسخاً شديد البرد وينزل فيه الثلج وأكثر شجره الجوز، والجزء الآخر مما يلي بلاد هنج وبال وبلاد اللار في طريق هرمز شديد الحر وفيه شجر النخيل.” 3
