“ولما صلینا الصبح بمزدلفة غدونا منها الى منى بعد الوقوف والدعاء بالمشعر الحرام. ومزدلفة كلها موقف إلا وادي محسر، ففيه تقع الهرولة حتى يخرج عنه.#” 6
“ووادي محسر هو الحد ما بين مزدلفة ومنى، ومزدلفة بسيط من الأرض فسيح بين جبلين” 5
