“وسافرنا في البر إلى كورستان ثم إلى اللّار ثم إلى خنج بال” 6
“ومن قراه العظيمة التي تضاهي المدن قرية ميمن، وهي للقاضي المذكور. ومن عجائب هذا الموضع المعروف بجمكان أن نصفه مما يلي شيراز وذلك مسافة اثني عشر فرسخاً شديد البرد وينزل فيه الثلج وأكثر شجره الجوز، والجزء الآخر مما يلي بلاد هنج وبال وبلاد اللار في طريق هرمز شديد الحر وفيه شجر النخيل.” 3
“ووصلنا إلى مدينة لار (وآخر اسمها راء)، مدينة كبيرة كثيرة العيون والمياه المطّردة والبساتين. ولها أسواق حسان، ونزلنا منها بزاوية الشيخ العابد أبي دلف محمّد وهو الذي قصدنا زيارته بخنج بال.” 4
