“وقبر الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب عليهم السلام، وهي قبة ذاهبة في الهواء بديعة الإحكام، عن يمين الخارج من باب البقيع، ورأس الحسن إلى رجلي العباس عليهما السلام، وقبراهما مرتفعان عن الارض، متسعان مغشّيان بألواح بديعة الالصاق، مرصّعة بصفائح الصفر البديعة العمل. وبالبقيع قبور المهاجرين والأنصار وسائر الصّحابة رضي الله عنهم. إلا أنها لا يعرف أكثرها. وفي آخر البقيع قبر أمير المؤمنين أبي عمر عثمان ابن عفّان رضي الله عنه.” 8

province of Saʿūdī Arabia in latitude 24° 28′ N, longitude 39° 36′ E, about 160 km. from
the Red Sea and about 350 km. north of Mecca.” 6
