ܘܰܚܫܝܒܳܐ ܗܘܳܬ ܪܒܐ ܕܐܰܬܪ̈ܘܳܬܐ ܕܡܨܪ ܘܰܩܪܝܬܳܐ ܗܝ ܗܳܫܐ.” 3
“كانت مدينة عظيمة قديمة في جنوبي الرها و بينهما يوم
وعُدّت قصبة ديار مضر وامست قرية” 4
“once a great city, a day’s journey south from
Edessa. It was considered the capital of Diyar Miṣr, but now is a small
village.” 5
