“مدينة تيزين: وهي قرية من نواحي حلب، كانت من أعمال قنسرين، ثم صارت في عهد الرشيد من العواصم مثل منبج، ورغم أنها تقع في جهة تفاير قنسرين تماما، فليس هنالك ما يمنع أن يسافر اليها ابن بطوطة عن طريق قنسرين وهي طريق غير مباشرة، وقد لوحظ ذلك في أسفاره.” 8

وبين الفرات ثلاثة فراسخ وهي اليوم بليدة.” 3
